So, you’re pregnant- Woo Hoo!! Time to put your feet up and let those running shoes start collecting dust – at least for the next 9 months when the only workout you need to do is carry around your growing baby bump, right?! I hate to burst your bubble – but pregnancy is definitely not the time to give up on your exercise regime. Numerous studies have shown that not only is your body able to workout during pregnancy, but that it actually benefits from it, and possibly even your growing baby too! Below are six benefits to maintaining your workout during pregnancy and our favorite picks to break a sweat. - Better Sleep- Getting a little cardio in can help you get a better, more restful sleep at night. Enough said, right?!

Regular exercise will help to strengthen your muscles, and in return help your body to cope better with all the changes that are happening to your body.
